There’s nothing quite as comforting and yummy as a bowl of warm peach cobbler. That’s why we love this cake at our house. It takes the goodness of cobbler to a whole new level!

This cake is so delicious all by itself, but then we added icing drizzled all over … now, it’s to die for! It’s quite easy to make too. Will you try it this week?

Peach Cobbler Cake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix, divided
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • ⅔ cup warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cans peach pie filling
  • ½ cup butter, cubed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (32 oz)
  • 3½ Tbsp milk
  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  2. Spray 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Measure out 2 cups of the cake mix. Put aside the leftover cake mix for the crumble topping.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the 2 cups of cake mix, flour, and yeast. Stir until combined.
  5. Pour in warm water and stir well.
  6. Add eggs and stir. (Batter will be lumpy.)
  7. Work to spread the mixture into prepared baking dish.
  8. Next, spread both cans of pie filling on top of cake batter as evenly as possible.
  9. In a bowl, combine the rest of the cake mix with the butter using either a pastry cutter or fork. It will be lumpy.
  10. Sprinkle topping mixture over the pie filling.
  11. Bake for 45-55 minutes. Topping should appear golden brown.
  12. Allow the cake to cool for 10-15 minutes.
  13. In a bowl, combine powdered sugar and milk. Start with a small amount of milk, adding more until it gets to the desired consistency of icing.
  14. Drizzle icing over top of cake.
