Cake Batter Protein Shake – FP Friendly.  Yes, I said CAKE BATTER!  Talking about having your cake and eating it too. 

I really had my doubts about this protein shake.  I mean, I love cake and cookie batter.  I’m one of those that ignores the safety issues about eating raw batter and just goes for it.  In fact, my kids usually know that if they don’t get to the spatula to lick it “clean” before I do, that they’ll miss out. 

So, I really didn’t have high expectations about this shake.  Does it taste just like cake batter?  Well, maybe not JUST like it.  Is it delicious?  Yes!  It’s creamy, filling and oh so good. 

On top of that, it’s healthy, low fat and low carb.   If you are a Trim Healthy Mama, that means this is a Fuel Pull shake.

Cake Batter Protein Shake - FP Friendly
Serves: 1-2
  • ½ cup Low fat or fat free cottage cheese
  • 1 scoop unsweetened vanilla protein powder
  • 4 drops almond extract
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup water
  • 5 ice cubes
  1. Put everything into a blender and blend, adding as much water and ice until your desired creamy consistency is reached.
