Cabbage with Beef and Tomato

  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut cabbage into chunks; put in boiling water for 15 min.
  3. Remove from pot and cool.
  4. Cook ground beef until brown; drain.
  5. In a bowl, combine beef, tomato sauce, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, minced onions and salt.
  6. Spread a thin layer of tomato mixture on the bottom of a 13x9 baking pan.
  7. Place half the cabbage over tomato layer and top with half of tomato mixture. Repeat layers. Cover pan with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr.
